Now for something really different.

Hey there! We hope everyone had a great holiday season. Don’t know about you, but I am more than ready for a New Year’s detox after the past few days of food-stuffed gatherings!

We’re always getting new and exciting products in, quite a few of them brought in by our Grocery buyer, James L. This particular item really has us psyched – it’s healthy, really different than anything we’ve seen before and we are the only store in New Jersey to carry it.

It’s The Pure Wrap. 60 calories. Raw. Gluten-free. 9 grams of carbs. Non-GMO Project Verified. No bread, no grains, no soy. It’s a wrap made of coconut meat.

Yes, an unbread-wrap! An unbread RAW wrap. Made of only coconut, water and Himalayan salt. How is this possible? Well, it took a lot of trial and error to get it right, according to founder Todd Fitts. He and his dedicated team believe that food is medicine; they made it their mission, no matter how many times they were laughed at, to come up with a healthy alternative to the average wrap. Todd sourced out wild coconuts from a remote, untouched area of the Phillipines, uses only organic curry for the curry-flavored wraps, even their packaging is made with non-GMO cellulose. The coconut is dehydrated, so processing is kept at its absolute minimum. They’re flexible – and delicious.

Whether you practice a raw foods diet, follow the Paleo lifestyle, are going gluten-free or just want something different and a little healthier, these are definitely up your alley!

  1. Anything with Himalayan salt is great! This unbread wrap sounds like a really cool, unique gift!

  2. The basics are NO grains of any kind, you get your carbs from fruits and vegetables, no processed food, dairy or sugar for 30 days.

Speak your mind!
